Introduction to the Institute
The Institute of Grasslands Human Settlements and Spatial Planning was established in 2014 and currently has 11 academic core members, including 3 professors, 3 associate professors, and 5 lecturers. Building on a solid academic foundation and distinct regional characteristics, the institute focuses on the sustainable development of human settlements in grasslands areas. Through research and practice in urban and rural planning, it provides scientific support and solutions for improving and optimizing living environments in grassland regions. Additionally, the institute leads the “Grasslands Human Settlements Science and Technology Innovation” research team, as well as university-level disciplinary team development projects such as “Urban Planning and Design” and “Rural Development and Rural Planning.”
